The family-run hotel is located within the old fortification-wall in close proximity to the market place, all sights and museums. Due to its central but nevertheless quiet location aside the busy routes you can enjoy an easeful stay in the romantic old town.

AKZENT Hotel Schranne Sightseeing, hiking, cycling and jogging routes are easily accessible from the hotel.
The surrounding countryside with picturesque villages, deep forests and vineyards invites you to day-trips or smaller excursions. The building dates back to the 17^th century when it was erected by a noble family; their coat of arms can still be found above the main entrance.

During the 20^th century, the house was turned into a hotel and is still run by the same proprietor. Since then, several stages of renovation have taken place to meet the requirements of a modern hotel, to live up to the expectations of our guests and to fulfil the most modern standards of security.

Nowadays, the AKZENT Hotel Schranne consists of 48 rooms, from single to family rooms, a main restaurant and several dining rooms as well as a private parking lot and an outside restaurant at the front side and a beer-garden in the back of the building. Enjoy our traditional German cuisine with local and seasonal specialities and delectable wines and beer from regional breweries.
